WHAT'S AN ENDORSED MIDWIFE?
An Endorsed Midwife is a person that has received further training to be able to provide advanced perinatal support. As Endorsed Midwives we are able to prescribe medication that is within our scope of practice and related to your care. We are also able to provide medicare rebates to eligible medicare holders.
DO I NEED A REFERRAL FOR YOUR SERVICES?
We require a referral from either your Obstetrician or your GP in order to provided rebates where eligible.
Unfortunately we cannot provide private midwifery care without a referral.

WHAT MEDICARE REBATES ARE AVAILABLE?
Private midwifery antenatal and postnatal consultations are eligible for a rebate for medicare holders.
One on one or group antenatal classes are not eligible for a medicare rebate.
WHAT IF I DON'T HAVE MEDICARE?
All our services are offered at full cost if ineligible for medicare. Payment will need to be paid prior to appointment/visit.
